Trevor
“Trevor's only aim is to be everybody's favourite.”
Trevor was just a lot number in the Shetland Pony Society's sale in Aberdeen having been taken from his mum in Orkney and shipped on the ferry at five months old. He fetched only a small two figure sum at the sales. He joined his previous owner at about three years old and then joined the Forgebraehead Herd at six years old. He is a lovely, genuinely kind small pony with a real Thelwell pony stature and attitude, being nearly twice the weight of our older Shetland, Holly.
Trevor loves his food, cuddles, pushing the fences and his good friend Mitchell. He is another of our Cheeky Boys and is often seen teasing the bigger horses, romping up and down the croft but he also enjoys some down time, being a great companion accompanying the older horses for a separate, more peaceful field day out of the mischief making.
We find that visitors are drawn to Trevor and he makes sure to get right up close and in peoples personal space so he's not missed. He melts peoples hearts and makes everyone laugh.
